Henri Robert Ekegren

1823-1896
Danish clockmaker and chronometer maker.
Watchmaker to the King of Denmark.
Worked for Urban Jürgensen, Henry Golay, Joseph-Thaddeus Winnerl and Adolph Lange before setting up his own business in Geneva.

1857
The Founder, with Ferdinand Westermann, of a factory specializing in chronometers. It was sold to Edouard Koehn in 1891.

1874
Patent for a clockmaking oil deemed to be the best at the time by the Genevan Arts Society.
Gold medallist in several Universal Exhibitions.
Won the Genevan chronometry competition several times.
