The clock and watch museum

The clock and watch museum is an exceptional private museum. It is managed by Jozef Op de Beeck and his daughter Elke, both restorers of antique clocks and watches. During his career Jozef has collected a large variety of timekeepers which he displays to a broad public for over 25 years. The museum houses a permanent exhibition of approximately 1000 timekeepers. The eldest piece in the collection is a tower clock dating from about 1600. Furthermore you can admire home made long duration hourglasses, sundials, mystery clocks, extraordinary pocket watches and top-quality wristwatches, some of which of the hand of the conservator himself. The museum has its own workshop and also a collection of antique watch making tools.

Opening hours

The museum is open for information Monday to Saturday from 10 h – 12 h and from 14h – 18h.
The museum can only be visited with guided tour.
Guided tours without reservation will take place twice a day (except on Sunday and Public Holidays) at :
• 10:30 h
• 14:30 h
Group visits are possible after reservation
