Timer / Complete watchmaking and adjustment
The timer brings the movement to life by assembling each of its constituent parts one by one. He/she must be extremely dextrous since timers are often required to rework the components until they fit together snugly. His/her objective is to ensure that the movement functions perfectly. A person can begin working as a timer as soon as he/she obtains a watchmaking practitioner qualification bolstered by a few years of experience on more complicated pieces.
