Change places with a watchmaker…
The Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie is pleased to invite you to its Initiation to Watchmaking workshops.
This three-hour workshop introduces members of the public to the basic principles of watchmaking by inviting them to take apart and reassemble a simple mechanical movement.
Guided by professionals, you will take apart then assemble an ETA 6497 movement. Experience for yourself the many subtleties of the watchmaker's delicate art.
The last novelty : the movement is now decorated.
Each workshop welcomes a group of up to ten people, from absolute beginners to confirmed experts. No previous experience is required, other than a passion for mechanical watches.
The workshops will take place in historical salons of the Palais de l'Athénée in Geneva.
We will be pleased to welcome you every first Wednesday of the month, from 6 pm. to 9 pm.
