1847

Louis-François Cartier establishes the business in Paris, which was to remain in the control of the family until 1964.

1904

Louis Cartier creates the Santos wristwatch, dedicated to his friend, the Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont. It was marketed for the first time in 1911.

1917

We were captivated by the perfect blend of technical skill and artistic expression in creating exceptional products.
