Founded in 1980 by Carlo Crocco, Hublot is a pioneer in both the use of rubber for its watch-straps and in its DNA: "The Art of Fusion". The Big Bang watch symbolises this concept perfectly. It first appears in 2004 under the guidance of Jean-Claude Biver who brought rapid success to the brand. Purchased in 2008 by LVMH, Hublot capitalises on sporting links with prestigious ambassadors.

LVMH purchases the brand and introduces a vertical approach to its production process. A new factory is established in Nyon with a programme of expansion through the years.
