Renowned as one of the most influential fashion houses in the world, Louis Vuitton enters the world of watch-making 2002. The brand is inspired by the world of travel to create watches connected to history. And thus, the launch of the first Tambour collection, produced as a tribute to the first miniature watch created in the western world in 1540. In 2014, the house inaugurates a new manufacturing unit in Meyrin, the location of which was decisive for obtaining the Geneva Seal.

The trunk-maker and leather craftsman Louis Vuitton founds the brand of that name and opens his first shop close to the Place Vendôme.

Louis Vuitton offers an innovative way to read the time with the Tambour Spin Time collection. The time can be read by simultaneously rotating the cubes and presenting a face with or without figures.

Inauguration of a new watch-making centre, La Fabrique du Temps in Meyrin, Switzerland on a site covering 3,500m².
