Aquis Date Upcycle Calibre 400

Part of its refreshed Aquis range, Oris is reintroducing the Date Upcycle in three sizes. First seen in 2021, Oris's Upcycle concept centres on dials that are made from recycled PET bottles, meaning each one is unique. More than eight million tons of plastic end up in the ocean each year. The 41.5mm and 36.6mm executions are fitted with calibre 733 on a Sellita SW200 base, while the 43.5mm version runs off the in-house 400 calibre. Specifications include five days of power reserve, resistance to everyday magnetic fields and ten-year recommended service intervals. The case, which is rated water-resistant to 300 metres, introduces subtle modifications to the lugs and crown-guard. As for the bracelet, its centre links are wider and the overall design more tapered. It fastens with a quick-adjust clasp.
