Defy Skyline Skeleton Ceramic
Introduced in 2022, the Defy Skyline collection is the modern successor to Zenith’s Defy line from 1969. This new iteration adopts a bold design coupled with increased performance, thanks to the latest generation El Primero high-frequency calibre. The two latest additions to the collection feature a 41mm black ceramic case on an integrated bracelet, also in black ceramic, which can be swapped out for the rubber strap that is part of the package. On the Skeleton version, the open dial takes the shape of a blackened four-pointed star. Visible through it is the movement with black bridges and mainplate. Facetted hands and applied indexes are filled with Super-LumiNova for easy readability in low light. Both models run off the high-frequency El Primero 3620 automatic movement beating at 5 Hz, with a 1/10th of a second indicator driven directly from the escapement. Power reserve is 60 hours.
