Zenith presents a watch of classic beauty and sobriety, driven by the new 6150 calibre, a contemporary version of the Elite base movement from the early 1990s. The brand's engineers have increased the movement's power reserve to 100 hours, broadened its diameter to 30 mm, and added a central sweep-seconds hand while preserving the slenderness of the original at just 3.92 mm high, inside a 10-mm high case. This understated elegance is further conveyed by the long, slender hands that sweep the domed dial. This extension to the Elite calibre family confirms Zenith's ambition to renew its range of in-house movements, and this contemporary evolution of an historical calibre prefigures future variations and developments.
