Lange 1 Perpetual Calendar

Since the revival of the brand in 1994, A. Lange & Söhne watches have coupled precision with distinctive design. The Lange 1 beautifully captures this spirit, with off-centre hours and minutes adjoining an outsize date. This model incorporates a perpetual calendar, a speciality of the brand since 2001. True to form, the calendar indications are displayed in an unconventional way, starting with the months which are inscribed on a rotating ring around the periphery of the dial. A retrograde hand points to days of the week, while the leap year appears in an aperture at 6 o’clock. The precision moon-phase display is complemented by a day/night indication.
