RM 11-05 Automatic Winding Flyback Chronograph GMT

Exclusive to Richard Mille, the Cermet used for this RM 11-05 is a new material that is as light as titanium and as hard as diamond. Its warm grey colour comes from the combination of a metallic zirconium matrix with high-performance ceramic inserts. These are elements of a very different nature that must be heated to a high temperature then pressed together without altering their properties: a process that is a challenge in itself. Cermet's physical capabilities are already well established: the material is used in ballistics, for fuselage external components, and for the brakes on competition cars. The trio of Carbon TPT® for the caseband, grade 5 titanium for the caseback and grey Cermet for the bezel keep this RM 11-05 exceptionally light on the wrist. The movement, in titanium, powers a GMT display (easily set by the pusher at 9 o'clock), a 24-hour flyback chronograph and an annual calendar.
