When H. Moser & Cie. returned centre-stage in 2005, it did so with the Perpetual 1, a refreshingly minimalistic take on the perpetual calendar complication. So minimalist, in fact, that it could easily pass for a time-only and date. In 2021 the brand revisits the concept in the contemporary setting of the Streamliner collection. Compared with the original version, the Streamliner Perpetual Calendar adds a coaxial central seconds hand to the stack of hours and minutes hands, plus a tiny hand for the month indication. The instant-change date is shown in an aperture, while the leap-year indication is positioned on the back of the in-house HMC 812 manual-winding movement, with an indicator for the one week of power reserve on the dial.
