Bring on the superlatives: UR 1001 Titan is, says Urwerk, an über complication, and one that lives up to its name. Its titanium case, an imposing 160x62x23 mm, needs a heavy-duty leather bracelet with two fasteners to strap it to the wrist. As for the movement inside, it brings together a constellation of Urwerk technology: the patented satellite complication showing wandering hours and retrograde minutes, an annual calendar also based on the revolving satellite concept, a day/night and power-reserve indicator and, under the hood on the back of the case, an oil change indicator, a 100-year indicator and a 1,000-year indicator. This is, in Urwerk's own words, the most badass of all its creations. Of the kind that leaves no-one indifferent.
