A TALK WITH @k711ai : Graduated from ECAL in Switzerland with a specialization in luxury design and craftsmanship, he interned at Hermès in Paris and collaborated with various European brands. With over a decade of experience in Europe and Asia, this background has provided him with a unique approach to creativity, blending natural elements with cutting-edge technology to reinterpret traditional concepts innovatively.

When designing watches, my greatest inspiration typically comes from aerospace engineering instruments and architectural lines. Both fields have a profound connection to time, allowing me to approach watch design from unique perspectives.

I have a deep admiration for Valerio Olgiati; his architecture always prioritizes the functionality and practicality of space. To me, architecture is a large-scale work of art that must stand the test of time. Considering design through the lens of architecture has been immensely helpful to me.

Everyone has their way of relieving stress. For me, basketball is my favorite sport. It’s the activity that allows me to unwind and reset when I’m feeling pressured or creatively blocked.

While I was in Taiwan, Maximilian Büsser encouraged me to follow my dreams(2014). Three years later(2017), I arrived in Switzerland and visited his office. We shared many stories about my journey and the efforts I’ve made. He has been a significant source of inspiration for me.
