À Cheval watch

Van Cleef & Arpels presents the Haute Joaillerie À Cheval watch, perpetuating the jewellery expertise showcased in the À Cheval jewellery set first presented in 1981. With its singular gem-setting featuring overlapping gems that gave the watch its name (a pun on the French terms chevaucher or being à cheval that can also mean sitting astride a horse), the new model features an extremely supple bracelet that clothes the wrist in a slender river of diamonds. This complex technique accentuates the radiance of the model thanks to the subtle craftsmanship involved in giving special volume to the stones set into platinum. The diamond-pavé white gold dial is also framed by a gem-set bezel. The bracelet is delicately linked to the clasp by horseshoe-shaped lugs symbolising good luck.
