Big Bang Unico Nespresso Origin

For the past seven years, Nespresso has been working with a range of Swiss brands to make new products out of used capsules. Now the coffee brand has teamed up with Hublot to create a Big Bang that fuses recycling and circularity into its design. The fabric for the watch’s strap contains recycled coffee grounds while the case, crown, bezel and pushers are in recycled aluminium, 28 per cent of which comes from Nespresso capsules. Recycled titanium is used for the case back and for the container housing the movement. The striking shade of green of this 200-piece limited edition mirrors that of the Master Origins Peru Organic capsules. The Big Bang Unico Nespresso Origin is the first watch to be delivered in Hublot’s Greenbox case. Crafted from traceable oak, it will extend to all Hublot watches going forward. The movement is the HUB1280 Unico automatic chronograph calibre which delivers 72 hours of power reserve.
