De Bethune’s DB25 Starry Varius gets its first complication, courtesy of the brand’s twenty-ninth calibre. All the hallmarks of the collection are there, namely a titanium case, a day/night dial and integrated, openwork lugs. Starting from the centre, the dial indicates the date on the first disc by means of a jumping hand, the hours of the first 24-hour time zone (home or reference time) by a microsphere, and local time by blued central hands whose curvature follows the curve of the dial. A poetic vision of the day and night sky occupies the centre of the dial. A pink gold sun on a microlight-decorated section shines over the upper half, while the celestial vault is outlined on the blued titanium section, dotted with a multitude of tiny gold pins.
