Tourbillon
For the seventh consecutive year, Harry Winston presents a new iteration of its Histoire de Tourbillon. Having explored biaxial, triaxial and double tourbillons, and a tourbillon combined with a carrousel, the brand has imagined a version with two biaxial tourbillons, joined by a spherical differential. The inner cage of the tourbillon, whose balance wheel is inclined 30°, makes one rotation in 45 seconds while the outer cage completes its rotation in 75 seconds. As a result, the two regulating organs can take up an infinite variety of positions relative to gravity, the enemy of precision. On the right side of the dial, hour and minute hands move across a pyramidal "reading area", surrounded by sloping inserts. It extends into a long strip of aluminium that encloses the tourbillons. Power reserve is shown at 6 o'clock on a rolling display.
