Octo Finissimo Ceramic Automatic

We first saw it in 2017 in titanium. It returned the following year in gold or in sandblasted steel. This year the Octo Finissimo Automatic hints at a darker side, in top-to-toe sandblasted black ceramic – a material that ensures optimal scratch-resistance but is fiendishly difficult to machine. Imagine, then, the challenge of forming the 110 facets of the Octo Finissimo's case. Inside this ultra-thin, 5.50-mm high silhouette, beneath the black ceramic dial, the BVL 138 Finissimo movement keeps beautiful time. Those with an appreciation of fine mechanics will cast an eye through the sapphire caseback at the movement with its chamfering, circular-graining and Côtes de Genève, all executed by hand.
