Portugieser Hand-Wound Eight Days Edition “75th Anniversary”

On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Portugieser watch, IWC wished to highlight a little-known but extremely appealing version of its original range, held in a private collection. It features all the elements that still characterise the dials of these models to this day: Arabic numerals, slender leaf-type hands, a railroad minute track and small seconds at 6 o’clock. IWC has drawn inspiration from it to create two limited series: one in red gold with a silver-toned dial and one in steel with a black dial. To ensure the design is perfectly respected, the power reserve of the eight-day movement can be read off through the sapphire crystal back.
