Récital 28 Prowess 1

Themes: Technical
Specificities: Calendar, Time Zones, Tourbillon

Bovet presents the Récital 28 Prowess 1 – the first watch to account for daylight saving time. Compared with a traditional world time watch, the Récital 28 has a complex and innovative system of rollers to indicate the cities for the different time zones. Controlled by the crown, they can be adjusted for all the variations in timekeeping around the world. Thanks to this ingenious solution, the wearer can set their watch to one of the 24 time zones while taking into account UTC, American Summer Time, European and American Summer Time and European Winter Time. Adding to the complexity is a flying tourbillon, a perpetual calendar on rollers and an impressive 10-day power reserve from a single barrel. Bovet's watchmakers devoted five years to the development of the R28-70-00X movement whose components are all hand-finished, including the "rays of light" engraving on the bridges. Production will be limited to eight timepieces a year.
