RM 07-04 Automatic Sport
Richard Mille developed the RM 07-04, the brand’s first women’s sports watch, with input from six female athletes, all members of its extended “family”. Three years of R&D went into this watch, proposed as six models in Carbon TPT® or Quartz TPT®, in order to develop a compact and skeletonised automatic movement, guarantee high shock-resistance and perfectly integrate the exterior into the movement. The resulting CRMA8 calibre is an in-house movement with hours, minutes and a function selector. A baseplate and bridges in grade 5 titanium ensure the rigidity of the assembly and the movement has been tested to withstand 5,000 g of acceleration. The colours, from black for the Carbon TPT® model to white, mauve, salmon pink, green or blue for the Quartz TPT® versions, in no way alter the properties of these materials, which are non-allergenic, resistant to shocks and UV rays, and extremely lightweight. The proof: the RM 07-04 Automatic Sport barely tips the scales at 36 grams and that includes the Velcro® strap.
