RM 40-01 Automatic Winding Tourbillon McLaren Speedtail

As Richard Mille and McLaren Automotive enter the fifth year of their ongoing collaboration, the two partners have embarked on their most ambitious project to date and transformed hypercar into hyper watch. This 106-piece limited edition is packed with references to the Speedtail, the fastest McLaren road car yet. The case, in titanium and Carbon TPT®, mimics the hypercar’s aerodynamic droplet form. Bezel indentations reference the bonnet openings on the Speedtail, while pushers recall the air outlets behind the front wheels. Such a plethora of details and finish showcases the mechanical sophistication of the automatic Calibre CRMT 4 engine. This is the first time at Richard Mille that an in-house tourbillon combines with an indicator for the 50 hours of power reserve, an oversize date and a function selector. This high-performance machine comes to a halt on the wrist on an asymmetric rubber strap.
