RM 66 Flying Tourbillon
Once again Richard Mille disregards convention with the RM 66; a watch inspired by hard rock. In its centre, an X-rayed hand, forged from red gold, is making the “horns” sign. Its outstretched index and pinky fingers ensnare the movement while, visible on the back, the last phalange of the thumb holds down the middle and ring fingers. The architecture of the skeletonised RM66 manual-winding calibre showcases the fast-winding barrel at 6 o’clock, which supplies 72 hours of power reserve, and above it, at 12 o’clock, the flying tourbillon. Every detail of this 50-piece limited edition riffs on the rock theme, from the indexes shaped like guitar plectrums to the skullcap that sits on top of the dynamometric crown. For the case, Carbon TPT® contrasts with the red gold plates inserted in the titanium caseband.
