Royal Oak Concept "Black Panther" Flying Tourbillon 42mm

Following the announcement of its partnership with Marvel Entertainment, Audemars Piguet unveils the first watch to come out of this new collaboration. Made from microblasted titanium with a black ceramic bezel and crown, the Royal Oak Concept “Black Panther” Flying Tourbillon is produced in a limited run of 250 pieces. Its design shouts out to the high-tech uniform of Marvel’s Black Panther character, who appears on the dial, hand-carved from white gold and hand-painted, ready to stride across the flying tourbillon at 6 o’clock. The movement, Calibre 2965, is the latest evolution on the manual-winding, flying tourbillon mechanism that was first released in 2018, in the Royal Oak Concept collection. Visible through the sapphire caseback, the angular bridges in microblasted titanium with black and grey PVD coating are a perfect match for the watch’s futuristic feel.
