Royal Oak Concept Tourbillon "Spider-Man" 42mm

Carrying on a collaboration with Marvel that began in 2021, Audemars Piguet debuts the Royal Oak Concept Tourbillon “Spider-Man” in titanium with a contrasting black ceramic bezel. This impressive watch is equipped with a new tourbillon movement, Calibre 2974. Fully skeletonised, it takes the manual-winding Calibre 2948 as a base. By eliminating as much material as possible, Audemars Piguet’s engineers, watchmakers and craftsmen have achieved a level of transparency that allows the superhero character to appear in three-dimensional form. The web-slinger’s silhouette is cut by a CNC machine from a block of white gold. His suit is then laser-engraved to create the different textures. Final touch-ups and engraving are by hand. Each hand-painted miniature Spidey takes 50 hours to complete, multiplied by the 250 pieces in this limited edition. For the first time, the 42mm Royal Oak Concept case is equipped with an interchangeable system for straps in black and grey or black and red rubber.
