This particular J12 is part of the Electro capsule collection that Chanel introduced in early 2021 and which takes its name from 1990s electro music, capturing its riot of energy in a rainbow of colours. On the black ceramic version (there is also a version in white ceramic), sapphires form a continuous gradient of twelve colours around the bezel, echoed by the twelve baguette sapphires that mark the hours on the dial. A brilliant-cut diamond sits on the crown, in black ADLC-coated steel. Pumping up the volume in this time-only Electro Dream is Calibre 12.1, a movement by Kenissi that also equips certain Tudor watches.
