Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona
Rolex upgrades the Cosmograph Daytona line with the introduction of a new-generation Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona, proposed as four variants on integrated bracelets in platinum, Everose gold, Oystersteel or yellow Rolesor (Oystersteel and yellow gold) and a fifth variant in yellow gold on an Oysterflex rubber strap. Subtle refinements have been made to the case and the contrast between the dial and the chronograph counters is accentuated. The chronograph movement, calibre 4131, is the most recent evolution of the 4130 calibre. It benefits from in-house innovations such as the Chronergy escapement in nickel-phosphorous. Aesthetic details include the cut-out oscillating weight and Rolex Côtes de Genève decorations on the bridges. The version in 950 platinum features a sapphire crystal case back and an oscillating weight in 18k yellow gold. Like every Rolex watch, the Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona, which is water-resistant to 100 metres, is a certified Superlative Chronometer.
